Faustine Badrichani (born 1984, France)is a French artist based in New-York. Her work focuses on the female body and is an exploration of femininity, showcasing colorful nude silhouettes. Her most recent body of work includes works on paper mostly, but she has also explored the theme of femininity through sculpture (direct plaster) and large oil paintings.

For me, painting women is a play between what is universal and what is intimate, and this exploration is endless and takes multiple forms: my characters don’t have faces or are not distinct, in an attempt to showcase women as a universal entity. Conversely, their nudity reveals their intimacy
